Astronomy Catalogs ?
Hi this is Scotty. I was looking at some of the astronomy leagues observing programs. I came across a deep sky object called mark 6 and open cluster in cassiopia . but when I use stellarium, I'm not able to located it. What other word could I use to search for that particular catalog using stellarium?

No I've not done a full auto alignment but I will give it a try. Yes I always try make it go the same direction. But I 'll the next time it's clear out. But thank you.

Hi guy Scott/Scooter here. So here's a problem that I've been having. I have a Celestron Nexstar 5 I believe it's on an SE mount. I do the two star alignment through the hand held controller. Once I get on a star the drop the more high power eyepieces on the recenter the star. I do that in increment...

Well I think it's doable in the back yard at least for now until they lock us down. I think an online forum like facebook or even via email to report your findings should be exceptable.

Hi guys, I know there's got to be a few people out there who does winter observing. I just got to know, what do you do when it's cloudy? As you know it's been cloudy for a week or two at time lately. Do you observe the sun, online, other activities astronomy related?

Cool. I did not know that you can turn off cord wrap. I'll have give that I try. I'll also try wrapping it around the kneck as well. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Ok guys I've been having a problem with my power cord coming unplugged. This happens when the mount is turning. I was wondering if anybody has any easy solution. I've got the Celestron SLT alt az computer mount.

Hey guys I was just curious who all is going down to CGO this weekend? From the clear outside it should be good both days but Saturday is going to be clearer. Tomorrow night might be good for a couple of hours or so. Just curious which day people are thinking of going down.

I think it does cause the blue screen of death. But I do have to push the power button to turn it back. However, I did download the 64 bit version.
