Re: Street lights account for only 20% of light pollution?
Not sure if this has any bearing on the street lighting code in Tucson, but Tucson is also home to the University of Arizona that has one of the world's best, if not the best, optical engineering and physics departments. Unable to send PMs?
Hi,
I've been trying to PM a member for a few days now, but every time I hit "submit" after composing a message, it goes to my "outbox" and stays there. Never gets sent. What am I doing wrong?

Re: What to use for Star Map
+1 for Sky Safari on Android, the free version. While its fine to use a smart phone app, I've found myself abandoning the apps in favor of a planisphere to orient myself to the night sky and get my bearings. TY kibatme! We'll check these out. We had stayed at the Glacial Lakes SP (remote camping) years ago, very memorable and windy.

Camp grounds for good viewing
Hi all, We were recently at the ELO Camping With The Stars event and the feedback from the youngest member in our group (5.5 years old) was that it was awesome. We've camped at MN State Parks before, so we were wondering if there are public campgrounds outside the TC but not too far north that you w...
