No unfortunately we are only allowed to arrive on Wednesday. Maybe next year we can expand to a full week to increase the possibility of good weather. Fill out the questionnaire I emailed out and give us your opinion.

1. Is there camping available AT LLCC? We are offering the ability to park your camper at LLCC, but it is not a true camp ground. 2. Is it tent camping or can I bring my small (13') travel trailer? You can tent or bring a travel trailer. 3. Where is camping located on the property is relation to the...

LLCC Star Party Procedures for 2021

The Long Lake Conservation Center is still running in dormant mode. This means that they have limited staff and are not allowing other groups access yet. MAS has been given permission to continue with our monthly star parties with a couple special requirements. 1. The committee needs to let the LLCC...

It looks like they allow different focal length objectives to be used. The right one is low profile and the left one is high profile. If you cannot get your object in focus with one, then try the other.

We have advertised in the magazines the past. We missed it the year. We also decided not to spend money advertising in Reflector since we have not seen anyone signup due to the add. I think a few posters at Alcon would be the best advertising we can do this year. The field will hold about 50 scopes,...

We are watching the weather for Friday night. Saturday night looks like a bust, so if it's on we are thinking of Friday night at 7pm now. I will make final decision at noon Friday when the sky clocks are updated.
