Re: Getting out of this hobby, need some advice on selling local
I agree with Suresh. 2/3 is a good target though that can vary item to item. Somethings go obsolete and drop drastically. Regarding question on club sales before covid we had a swap meet once a year or so at the regular meetings. I doubt we have the turnout now. This online forum marketplace reaches...

Re: Using nebula and light filters
Here is a fairly good overview : https://agenaastro.com/articles/guides/guide-to-light-pollution-filters.html#filter I have used the lumicon UHC gen 1 filter at home in Woodbury. My site is Bortle 6 with SQM reading of 19.15. I found the UHC improved the view some on some objects but not all. I woul...

If you have permission You can follow the WHO IS ONLINE link at the bottom of the page. It lists registered users then the guest users. Currently as I just checked most of the bots are from SemRushBot and ahrefsbot and a few other crawlers. These are what the browsers are claiming they could be misr...

It was ok. My biggest complaint is they showed some really unrealistic night skies. I think a I saw one shot that looked like a photoshopped deep sky with people in front.

Was the error message "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again" or something else? Session length is 60 minutes so if you are logged in and the form is submitted it should work for whatever session time you have left. There's a similar unknown issue mentioned in the phpBB foru...

Re: Possible meteor storm, evening of May 30
Clear Sky Chart has clearing around 10pm in CGO but with terrible seeing. I not sure how much seeing will be an issue with meteors. I suspect not that much. So will be watching for next model run before my final decision.

Re: James Webb Space Telescope Prelaunch Briefing(s)
So now before the deployment is successful or ends in failure I have wondered what my thoughts would be if the telescope deployment fails. Will I condemn the hubris of engineers and managers for creating the "Goldberg" machine or give them a thumbs up for a good try? If successful do I app...
