Hello,

My name is Mark Yorkovich. Last year I moved to West-Central MN, just south of
Alexadria.

I was involved in the local amateur astronomy club where I moved from (eastern
Virginia). Working with the VA State Parks system, I and our astronomy club
members started up a monthly public viewing session at a state park near by. I
am now working on starting up something similar at Glacial Lakes State Park,
which is approx 50 min south of Alexandria and about 2 hours west of the 494/694
loop. I have contacted the managing park ranger there and they are very
interested.

Problem is, having only been here a year, I'm the only one I know of so far in
the area with a 'scope! As large as MAS is, I was wondering if anyone in your
organization may have any astronomy contacts near my area.
