LLCC This weekend Aug 2-3

Post by wkocken »

Weather looking possible for Friday at LLCC, the weather prediction is for 20% cloud cover on Friday night., Saturday night starts at 15% clouds and slowly rises to 30% over the night..

Thursday's updated weather forecast: Friday night starting at 27% clouds. Saturday night starts at 10% and rises to 25 by dawn. I typically find the NWS to be a little pessimistic.

Anyone else coming, besides possibly Valts and myself?

I'll be at the Nebraska Star Party so I'll be missing the LLCC star party AGAIN.

I'll post info regarding rooms and any restrictions as soon as I get them from LLCC

Marcum House rooms 1,2,3 are open. Lights will be off and the door to the dining area will be open for access to the rest rooms.

Clear skies to you!

A couple of photos from the LLCC star party - Aug 3 2013. It was a beautiful night, clear skies, nice temperature and only a few mosquitoes for a short while.
We had 9 observers, and the 30" was set up and providing great views of distant galaxies and nebulae.
