I plan on being there working on imaging some faint nebulae.

Awesome, I'm new at this and want to see the site. I haven't been down to CG yet. I drove half way down during the messier marathon and it seemed so cloudy I turned around. Then I heard(though the numbers were low) there was some visibility.

I noticed on the C.G. schedule that there is a tentative messier marathon April 8th(tonight) with April 9th as a backup. Noticing the forecast, I don't see hope for either. I'm just surprised I didn't notice it until now. wish for clear skies!

I think you may be looking at the 2016 MM. Pretty amazing that it's already on the calendar.

But hey, Friday night is actually forecast to be clear!
