B-SIG Field Trip Friday, October 9th CGO

Greetings,

The next B-SIG field trip will be in conjunction with the MAS Mini-Messier Marathon (4M) being held Friday, October 9th. This event is clear sky only and the MAS Observing Chair will make the Go/NoGo call for the event. The event starts around 7 pm.

If the event is called off Friday night the B-SIG will hold a backup meeting on Saturday morning, October 10th at the Champlin Public Library. The backup meeting will be held even if the 4M is rescheduled for Saturday night.

Be sure to keep an eye on the website and forums for any changes to the schedule, and, of course, for the Observing Chair's clear sky assessment of Friday night.

The 4M has been cancelled for Friday night. Even though it is rescheduled for Saturday night the B-SIG will meet for a classroom session Saturday morning. We will meet at the Champlin Public Library at 9:30 am.
