LLCC cookout June 17th

We plan on having a cook out at the LLCC on the 17th of June, if weather permits. If you can RSVP so I know what to buy, that would help.

Noon cookout. Dogs, burgers, chips, potato salad, watermelon and pop provided.

If weather is bad then we will shoot for the 24th.

Let's do some Solar observing, so bring your gear.

Looks like we will not have much of a turn out since it's Father's Day on Sunday. The weather is not looking that good either. If it's clear out Friday night or Saturday night, the cookout will be at noon on Saturday the 17th. We can do some solar observing as well.

If the weather is bad, then we will shoot for the 24th at noon.

The forecast looks bad for both nights. I looked at three different forecasts and I think we should change the date to the 24th. So it's official, we are pushing it out a week.

We are watching the weather for Friday night. Saturday night looks like a bust, so if it's on we are thinking of Friday night at 7pm now. I will make final decision at noon Friday when the sky clocks are updated.

I'm calling the BBQ off for tonight. My weather tools are showing high and medium clouds with a cloud band hanging nearby all night.
