Valts Triebergs, veteran MAS Deep Sky Imager, will be presenting: Narrowband Imaging From Your Backyard

Synopsis: This talk will illustrate a basic understanding of astrophotography that can be done by amateur astronomers. It is important to understand what light is, and how we use the physical phenomenon of light to capture images. This presentation will not focus on photo processing and software. Instead, we will learn about how digital cameras see and capture light, as well as commonly available tools that can filter out the junk and keep the good light...
