Spectacular Hubble image of supernova remnant

Post by Dick Jacobson »

Hubble has outdone itself again! Check out this image of a supernova remnant in the Large Magellanic Cloud. When I first saw it I thought it must be a fake!

I definately don't want to get "anyone" started here, as I still approve of his Iraq war, but he is a moron when it comes to the Hubble. To refuse spending $$$ to repair and upgrade such a marvelous machine while still promoting the idiotic idea of landing men on the moon (weren't we there a few times already?) makes no sense to me.

It reminds me of the Crab Nebula, but a lot crabbier!
