I just read an article saying Mike Lynch will be bringing several reflectors to Lake Elmo Park Reserve Friday, March 6 from 6:30-8:30pm. This is an all weather event as it will start with a presentation in the Nordic Center, then head outside. The article said "...[he] will be bringing reflector telescopes that are among the biggest mobile telescopes in the mid-west." He will be talking about Orion, Gemini, Taurus and many more. He also intends to show "close up views of star clusters, nebulae, galaxies and other celestial treasures." The event is free by you need a pass to get in the park, $30 annual or $7 daily.
Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo.
