I just found this article that talks about the impact of the satellite constellations, Elon Musk and others are putting in Earth orbit, on Earth based astronomy.

At least folks are talking about the impact to those of us that are stuck on the ground.

Too bad it was not better addressed far in advance.

At one point in that article, they mention “mega-satellites”. But it’s hard to tell if they meant to refer to “mega-constellations of satellites” or the moronic proposals for things like space billboards and satellite constellations that spell out ad slogans.
