As Fall & Winter approach, it's time to start scheduling presentations for our Beginner Special Interest Group.
The entire schedule is open, from the November event all the way thru March/April. I am looking for presentations that are geared toward beginners and can cover a two hour window plus time for questions. Topics are generally up to the presenters.
As we're still in the COVID world, these events will likely begin as Virtual Google Meet meetings, like our monthly MAS meetings. But if the virus is contained via a vaccine or otherwise, we can look at reserving library rooms again when they are available for face-to-face presentations.
Dates and times are also largely up to the presenters, but we normally host these on Saturday early afternoons. The Nov/Dec ones are scheduled away from Thanksgiving and XMas.
Please respond here if you've got an idea for a topic, and you're interested in helping out the BSIG. Our crowds are fun and people generally come with good nature and good questions.
BSIG events are open to the public so we normally get a good share of non-members, as well as members.
