Rick Singmaster (creator of Starmaster Dobs, including our own 24" Starmaster at CGO (the "B.A.D."), passed away last April.

I had the pleasure to observe with Mr Singmaster once at the Heart of America Star Party. He was an interesting person. I acquired one of his scopes a few years ago and although over 20 years old I still find it a solid and very enjoyable scope.
