A question about draw tubes.

So, I received and setup my first telescope this weekend. It all went quick and easy since it was nearly identical to the MAS scope I'd loaned recently. However, it came with a few different draw tubes and I'm wondering what the difference is between them. They have the same openings on either end, but are differently shaped, and one of them has only one tightening screw. Any ideas?

The one on the right looks like a standard 1.25" eyepiece adapter.

I'm not sure exactly what the one on the left is. But it might be for astrophotography... to run a nose piece thru and lock it with two screws.

What type of scope is it? Maybe that would help.

It looks like they allow different focal length objectives to be used. The right one is low profile and the left one is high profile. If you cannot get your object in focus with one, then try the other.

Oh right! I'm attaching a snapshot of my NEW TELESCOPE. It's a SkyWatcher Classic 200P 8" Dobsonian. The instruction manual was completely unhelpful as only generically refers to eyepiece adapters. I purchased separately a T-ring adapter for astrophotography, and figuring that out will probably be my NEXT post.

I like having the double set-screws on my star diagonal or straight eyepiece receiver because they act as redundant screws to prevent the eyepiece from falling out. They are especially helpful if you have a heavy object such as a camera mounted which you might be fiddling with a lot.
