Reservations limited to 40 people.


Each person will need to read and sign the liability waiver. PLEASE bring a signed copy or we will have copies to sign at the observatory. Entry will not be permitted without a signed waiver.

Cancelation rules:
If cloudy, the star party will be cancelled, but outdoor presentations and door prize drawing will be held.
This event is Cancelled if it is raining and we cannot hold out outdoor activities.
If cancelled, notification will be posted on the MAS home page at www.mnastro.org

Start time of 1:00 pm
EVERYONE to wear masks at all times

I will have two people at Astronomy Day, May 15, at 3:00 PM to set up for presenting a class at 4:00 PM. I arranged this class with Lilah.

The class will be outdoors. I plan to bring materials to make the Sky & Telescope Star Wheels and then teach how to use them.
Can you provide tables? I will bring everything else.

I will cancel only if we have rain.

With the May 7 changes to covid restrictions, registration is no longer required.

The MAS executive board will be reviewing the star party rules for public events, until then, We will still be requiring the following:


Everyone attending a MAS public event:

1) EVERYONE to wear masks at all times while on the observatory grounds.

2) EVERYONE to read and sign the liability waiver. PLEASE bring a signed copy. We will have copies to sign at the observatory if needed. Entry will not be permitted without a signed waiver.

3) Everyone to sign the contact tracing form.
