Looking for an awesome mount?

There is a long story involved here that I will be glad to share in person, over the phone, or via email with anyone interested in the mount.

I am selling my Astro-Physics Mach2GTO with Extended Temp Absolute Encoders. I received the mount in July but the KeyPad just got here at the end of September. The mount was, and is, set up in my basement and powered up to check that it worked. It did!

I paid:
$11,490 for the Mount
$285 for shipping
$980 for the KeyPad
For a total of $12,755.

I am asking $11,000 for this brand new mount.

It is set up on a Berlebach Planet Tripod which cost $1,155. I am asking $900 for the tripod which is for sale only with the mount.

I will throw in your choice of an 8” or a 15” Robin Casady Saddle Plate if you want it, as well as a few AP doodads.

I am very interested but I can't buy it perhaps until next month. Are you in a hurry to sell? I hate to sell more stocks when the market is down so much.

Hi Ed,

I am not in a big hurry, but here is what I would like:

A commitment that you want the mount at the asking price (which is firm!) and will make payment and pick up the mount before Thanksgiving.

I would also like to know if you want the tripod as well, and which saddle plate, if any, the 8” or 14” (not 15” as mistakenly typed).

If you agree then we have a deal!

Ed has put a deposit on the mount and will be paying the rest and taking possession in the next week or two. I will post a Sold notice here when the transaction is completed.

If that falls through for some reason (I don't expect it to!) I will post that here.
