Hi all - I'm new to the group, using a telescope, and astronomy broadly, and plan to check out Metcalf Field tomorrow night (12/7) if the skies remain clear. I'd be happy to meet more folks in the group who'd like to join!

Welcome to the MAS! The better spot for a Metcalf Field ISP is in the "Metcalf Field Discussions" folder.

FYI -- there is no warming hut at Metcalf Field. So there is no protection from the cold. However, there are two AC power junctions (on the East and North parts of the field), if your gear needs power.

There is also a porta potty there, but it has been Winterized and is not usable right now. The next servicing will be in April.
