Landscape Imaging for Beginners

Synopsis:

Are you interested in landscape or cityscape photos that include the Milky Way, the Aurora Borealis, the moon, glittering stars, flashing meteors and other treasures of the night sky? Then you're about to become a Nightscape Photographer! Learn everything you need to know to enjoy this exciting and popular branch of photography; AND be amazed at what you can do with your camera at night. You’ll explore the basics of astronomy, the key camera settings and the best times of year to capture your favorite nightscape images. We’ll cover the fundamentals of why what we see at night changes predictably throughout the night, as well as throughout the year. You’ll learn what specialty gear and apps are recommended to make your nightscape photography easier, more enjoyable and more productive. Most importantly, you’ll learn the secret to the most two difficult tasks of all – focusing and composing in the dark! You’ll also be introduced to a few important post-processing techniques that you’ll need for realistic- appearing nightscapes. Overcome the challenges of not being able to see the sky during the day; or the landscape at night; bridge both worlds and embark on an exciting journey that will last a lifetime!

We hope that you can join us!!
