July Meeting

Post by mlfj4901 »

Greetings,

I just realized I have failed to post the info on the July meeting....which is tonight the 25th.

Roseville Library 7:00 to 8:00, although the room opens at 6:30 for set up.

John Marchetti is presenting "Planning Your Observing Session" included is an explanation of celestial coordinates, something I'm sure more beginner's than me find confusing at times.

Here is a link to the library: http://www.ramsey.lib.mn.us/index.htm

Here is a link for a map to the library: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?se ... N&zipcode=

Here is an apology for not posting all this sooner: I'm really really sorry.

I really hope you all can make it, and look forward to seeing you there.

Just an idea --- would it be possible to record future lectures (audio recordings) for those who cannot make it to the meeting. Is that allowed by the libraries where we meet or do we need special permission for that ?

Greetings,

I don't think the library can stop us, however we would need the library's permission if we were to use their recording equipment.

Good idea. Perhaps even videotaping if the presenter wouldn't be too camera shy.
