Eagle still intact?

Amazing! There is a strong possibility that the Apollo 11 "Eagle" LM Ascent stage may still be intact, still orbiting the Moon!

Which billionaire will send a salvage mission? That would be quite the artifact to recover.

Right. If it actually does still exist, it is likely safer in orbit than it would be if there was an attempt to encapsulate it somehow and drag it home. It's fun to think about though.

Hmm... they would put another one in orbit in the effort to retrieve this one...
