November B-SIG Virtual Presentation -- Saturday Nov. 20th -- 1:00pm -- "Of the Deep End"
Posted: Wed Nov 10, 2021 7:56 pm
Hi everyone,
The first virtual B-SIG presentation of the 2021-22 Winter season will be on Saturday November 20th, starting at 1:00pm.
Dave Tosteson will be presenting "Of the Deep End".
Synopsis:
"I've been interested in space and science fiction since early childhood. After my schooling and training I ventured to an MAS star party in 1985 at Baylor, was shown amazing things and was hooked. I progressed from binoculars to a 10" scope, then an 18" and a 25" which I still have. In 2005 I bought my 32" reflector and that is what I use to search for the most interesting, distant objects I can find. In the last decade I have been fortunate to be able to share some of these fascinating things through writing in Sky & Tel, the Reflector and Amateur Astronomy."
