Special BSIG Event for Total Lunar Eclipse at Metcalf Field - Sunday May 15th

Post by Sureshks »

Hello everyone,

This is just a Save the Date notice. On Sunday evening May 15th, we will have a watch party for the Total Lunar Eclipse at Metcalf Field at Belwin Conservancy.

The partial phases of the eclipse will start just as the Moon is rising around 8:23pm, just as the Sun is about to set. Totality occurs around 10:30pm and lasts until just before midnight. The partial phases end just before 2:00am. So this eclipse is really framed about as well as it could be for us.

More to come as we get closer... but save the date!

Hi Merle,

These events are 70 miles apart. So I doubt there will be much overlap. Hopefully, we have good weather for this event!
