First Images from JWST Coming July 12th at 9:30am

On July 12th at 9:30am CT NASA is scheduled to release the first images from the new $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope.

This will be a big moment in astro history... some have waited decades for this.

UPDATE on James Webb images - first image is coming Monday, 7/11, instead of Tuesday 7/12.

PRESS RELEASE from this morning:
Monday, July 11

5 p.m. EDT– President Joe Biden will release one of Webb's first images in a preview event at the White House in Washington. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson will provide remarks. A live stream of the event will be available on NASA TV. The image will be available simultaneously on NASA's website.
