Greetings all,
The MAS Mini-Messier Marathon (4M) is scheduled for Friday/Saturday September 23/24 at CGO. This is an opportunity to observe many of the 110 Messier objects (the primary Marathon is in March/April). Come on out and enjoy the wonderful autumn skies with friends!
I have attached a listing that is organized according to best observation time, but feel free to jump around as you desire. Some of the list might not be visible based upon horizon issues.
Kristopher Setnes will update us all on the weather as the weekend approaches. Feel free to add your questions and comments to this thread.

It will not happen on Friday night and if this holds it will likely not happen on Saturday either.

The Saturday forecast, although better than Friday, still looks bad. This event is cancelled. If the forecasts change, you can still go to CGO and take your chances with the morning, but there will be no official Mini-Messier event.
