Astrocalendar 2024 (Guy Ottewell)

Post by Sureshks »

Hi all,

For many years, Guy Ottewell produced his famously detailed and informative Astrocalendar. I've collected them since the 1980s. He stopped producing a printed version in 2016, though I believe he created a digital copy in some years since. He is now publishing a printed version of his 2024 Astrocalendar, probably because of the April Total Solar Eclipse.

You can get it on Amazon here for $23.66 (incl. tax): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJDDNT77?ps ... ct_details

I have a 2023 copy, and while parts of it are similar to his original artwork, some - like the monthly star charts - are disappointing. Quality of the paper isn't up to par as far as I recall the originals. The smaller format is more convenient, but the details his charts and diagrams suffer from the smaller pages.

All that aside, it's still worth owning IMHO. I ordered my 2024 copy (Prime membership) for $17.99 (base price 16.58 plus tax). Arriving Wednesday.
