Fascinating article and videos! I'm so glad to see that this priceless piece of history is being restored.
30-inch homemade Newtonian with periscope
20-inch homemade equatorial Newtonian with periscope
14-inch homemade equatorial Newtonian
10-inch Newtonian that folds flat
6-inch Russian Maksutov-Newtonian on Vixen equatorial mount
Too many small scopes and binoculars to mention

Great to see this!
Looks like it was posted in February. I can’t say that grainger.com is one of my go-to sites for Astronomy news :)

At the bottom of the Grainger website is a link for KnowHow. Includes info on safety, building operations and tools, but also articles on glassblowing, making beer, building a Halloween scare house, etc. and the people who do these things.

Unfortunately, this was the only article touching on astronomy. But Grainger's YouTube post of one of the videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lCJQ9wrUqY has had over 14,000 views since February, so perhaps the Grainger employee responsible for the article will be encouraged to do more.
