Hi all,
I am traveling to GNP(Glacier National Park) in Montana this August and am looking for recommendations on good places to view the sky? I’m hoping the timing will be in my favor to view the star system T CrB nova explosion.
I won’t have my scope with me so I’m looking for an alternative means to view the sky.
I found an observatory about 3 hours south of West Glacier but I was hoping to find something closer. Does anyone know of a place that’s closer to GNP?
Thank you!

Re: Montana observatories
Have you tried contacting GNP and asking them?

Actually, I reached out to Big Sky Astronomy club today so maybe I’ll hear back within a couple of days. Great recommendation to reach out to GNP as well!
Thank you Deane!
