The observing season has begun!!
There are Star Parties at Cherry Grove, LLCC and a Public Night at Onan this weekend. The weather forecast looks promising, too!
The observing field ground at CG might be soft, so please check before driving on it.
At LLCC, we are being asked to not drive onto the observing field because of possible wet conditions, so you will need to schlepp your gear. Or just use the 25" or the 30" (assuming you're trained) or the 8" dob that are onsite. Also please be aware that the Argo Navis for the 30" died last fall. It has been repaired, but it is still enroute back from Australia.
We have rooms 1 and 2 in the Marcum house for our use this weekend and LLCC has been asked to make sure the outside lights are off.
