Star parties for 3-16&17

The star party for March 16 at Cherry Grove is ON. The sky forecasts are mixed, however, making this a difficult call. The clear sky chart predicts no clouds but below average transparency for Friday night. As I write this, at 3:25PM. conditions have gotten hazy and clouds are appearing and disappearing. The NWS predicts about 50% cloud cover. Saturday night’s forecast is marginally better according to the Clear Sky Chart, but no better according to the NWS.
March 16-17 is also our first LLCC weekend. The star party for tonight is also ON. The forecast there is better for Friday Night and worse for Saturday.
