We have established the Beginners Special Interest Group meeting schedule for 2015. Although the classroom sessions are informative we have heard that the field trips are very valuable for the experience of the attending a star party, using equipment and learning the night sky. In past years we have tried to have field trips but the weather has not been very cooperative.
This year we are instituting something new for the field trips. We have scheduled eight field trips (twice as many as last year) in hopes of scoring at least a few good nights. Any field trips that are cancelled will have a classroom session the next day. Please note that the classroom session will only be held IF the field trip is cancelled.
