Sorry if this is the wrong forum but what do we do for cloudy nights on public nights at Eagle Lake observatory?
I have a group of about 15 people coming up and they're wondering if they should bother driving.
Thanks for the patience & thanks for the info.

Re: public night at ELO
On cloudy public nights we will…
Show a astronomical video or give a presentation
give virtual tour of sky in classroom
give tour of the observatory and demonstrate use of equipment
talk astronomy and answer astronomical questions
There are times when a cloudy night is more enjoyable because you can spend more time talking with guests and answering their questions since you normally don't have a prolonged conversation with a line of people at the telescopes. Suffice it to say whether clear or cloudy we can still find lots to do.
