This is not a MAS event but I have personally volunteered to assist in the teardown and cleaning of a personal telescope that is need of attention for an acquaintance. It was originally maintained by her spouse who passed last year after a long illness. The goal is to break it down and clean the telescope so it can be sold. I would appreciate some assistance. So if anyone that finds this type of volunteer work, and it will be work, fun you are welcome to join me Sunday Oct 25 9:30am into the afternoon. The site is is south of River Falls, WI.
