Upcoming July/August Star Parties

Greetings All,

We have star parties at CGO and LLCC this weekend, and a star party at CGO next weekend. If you are planning to attend any of these, please consider letting others know by responding to this thread.

As always, check the weather before heading out. There is no official GO/NO GO call for these star parties.


Next week end is also the 'Camping w/ the Stars' out at ELO.

I'm probably going to CGO tonight (Friday), and if it's clear tomorrow as well. I am also going to be at CWTS next weekend.

LLCC's weather was looking great for tonight and good for tomorrow so I packed the car. Like buying a telescope, getting ready to go affects the weather. Clear Sky, Clear Outside and some of the others are not painting quite as rosy a picture now, but there will still be at least two of us at LLCC tonight and possibly Saturday night.

Jealous of your neighbors going to the Nebraska Star Party? Come to the dark skies at LLCC and have your own stories to tell!
