Ya I think if they tried that all them civilian agencies launching rockets into space would find a way to bring it down in about a week. Or, there'd atleast be rockets sticking outa it like a friggen dart board.

That does bring up an interesting point. Is it illegal to vandalize a space billboard? Exactly what court could prosecute that?

And it brings up still another point: can the US ban something in space? I'd guess the FAA could prevent such a thing being launched from the US or by a US company, but past that, they'd have no authority. It would take an international treaty to do it.
