It looks poor to the south until early morning. I don't think tonight is a good idea.

I'll be there Saturday night. Cloudy there on Friday - not good for observing.

Great Nancy! I am looking forward to seeing you tonight. The weather forecast looks stunning for this evening. See you in a few hours!
Hoping for an observing field full of fellow members and guests!

I'll be heading down as well and probably be there around 11:30 or so. I'll try to keep my flashers on so I don't blast you guys.

Great night last night! I think I counted 7 private scopes on the observing field, and about a dozen people total. Clear skies, a little hazy around the edges as is typical at CG. Some major milestones were set - not me, I am still plugging away at the H400 list, but I did test a new-to-me star atlas (Deep Sky Hunter) which was good for starhops, and I tested some maintenance work on my scope - big improvement from what it was but still not getting the crisp focus I need to split tight double stars......the part of the problem I fixed was the positioning of my secondary mirror.

I hit a major milestone last night. I finally got my last three Messier objects. I'm totally stoked. I don't know if my records are good enough to get a pin, but I have met my wife's requirement to start shopping for an upgrade.

I have leveled up and unlocked resources. I sure hope there's a built-in save point to this game. :)
